Everday Make-Up

Hello!
I thought I should show you some pictures of my everyday make-up to go along with the post I did about the  products I can't live without (click here to see the post) . This is the make-up I would wear just on a day to day basis using the products that were mentioned.

Shopping | Baby Haul

My sister, Kayleigh, is expecting her first baby this September, which is sooo exciting! Yesterday we went into the city centre to get her some maternity clothes as she is starting to get a little bump. (eeek!!)

We went into H&M and I spotted these cute little bits that were in the sale. I had to buy them for Kay, obviously! We don't know the sex of babba yet but we both thought these would be good for both boy/girl.

Kayleigh and her boyfriend Dec are going for a Winnie the Pooh theme in the nursery so we thought the Tigger costume would be soo cute!! I just loved the little mouse romper, no reason for it, I just had to! haha

I can't even tell you how excited I am for the arrival of my first niece or nephew! I can't wait to be an auntie.

About Me | My Illnesses

You're probably wondering why I have that thing on my face! It's a naso-gastric tube and it helps keep my weight stable. My body doesn't take all the nutrients from food like yours probably will and I find it very hard to put on and maintain a good weight.

I have Crohns Disease which is a inflammatory bowel disease, PSC, a liver disease, ISTC another bowel disease, Arthritis and Hypermobility.

All my illnesses take a huge toll on my quality of life and I struggle to do day to day things. I use a wheelchair and take alot of medication. My PSC is slowly destroying the bile ducts in my liver and I will need a liver transplant.

I think I love make-up and beauty products so much because I can't do alot of things but I can still do that! I love pampering myself if I'm having a bad day and finding products that hide the signs that I'm not well. I enjoy watching beauty gurus on youtube and flicking through their blogs on days when I can't get out of bed because it helps take my mind off of feeling rubbish.

I always get asked why I bother with make-up even though I'm ill. I always say that on days where I don't make an effort I feel alot worse than on days when I put a slick of lipgloss and a brush of mascara on!

Product Review | REN Glycolatic Radiance Renewal Mask

The first thing I want to say about this product is A-MAZING!! I just love it & I can't get enough of it. The first time I used it I got so many compliments on how glowing and radiant I looked. ME!! glowing and radiant!!! Thats a BIG compliment for someone who's liver is packing in!!

REN are a "clean skincare" brand (their words not mine) and they do not test on animals. The mask works as a peel to reveal brighter more radiant skin.

To use, I squirt one pump of product onto my hands and smooth evenly over my face. The mask has a fresh, orange-y scent, which is lovely whilst I relax and wait 10 minutes for it to work it's magic. Once the 10 minutes are up I grab the lovely cloth that is included , soak it in hot water and begin to rub the mask off. I dry my face and ta-daa! beautiful, glowing skin. I use this mask the recommended once a week. I honestly don't know how I ever lived without it.

If you want to try RENs Glycolatic Radiance Renewal Mask for yourself pop on over to www.renskincare.com . You'll also find that they have a brilliant scheme where you can get 10% off of your favourite product for life! What more could you want?!
